Based on the Fairy Tales of Grozdana Olujić

The play was created by intertwining motifs from several fairy tales by Grozdana Olujić. Namely, the boy Radan and the girl Jana start a long journey from their apartments, in one of the city’s stone towers, accompanied by various magical beings who help them, in order to discover where the last seed of the Moon Flower should be planted. The Moon Flower is the only thing that can save the planet from an inexorable sinking into the grey. It is like an infection. Due to the modern way of life, it spreads to apartments, to families, to the heads of its members and threatens to take over and eventually destroy the entire planet. Old man Milija is the only one who sees this and together with his band of magical assistants will try to reach the boy and girl and lead them on their way. It is a modern fairy tale, with a strong ecological dimension, which tries to convey the power of a child’s imagination, its ability to find the last forest in the world and, even in the middle of the “grey” city, make the world green again.
