A lonely woman makes a wish to have a child… and Thumbelina is born from a tulip flower, a girl as small as a thumb, as her name suggests. At first, she is happy with her mother, but as she grows up, mother’s love is no longer enough for her, and she goes out into the world in search of happiness. Her path is full of temptations and dangers. In the end, thanks to her kindness, she is rewarded and finds a world where she feels at home.
