
Born in 1972 in Niš. Graduated from the Academy for Theatre and Film Arts “Krastyo Sarafov” in Sofia in the Acting and Puppetry department under Professor Bojana Lungova. The diploma, professional title, and degree were recognized by the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, University of Arts in Belgrade.
After passing the audition in 2002, he became a permanent member of the Niš Puppet Theatre ensemble.
He has performed a number of roles at the Niš Academic Theatre SKC, “Off Theatre,” Youth Theatre “Third Half,” and about twenty roles at the Niš National Theatre.
He has received numerous collective acting awards and animation awards. Among the individual awards and recognitions, the following stand out:
- Award for Acting Achievement for the role of the Mad Hatter in the play “Alice in Wonderland” at the Forty-Eighth Meeting of Professional Puppet Theatres of Serbia in Zrenjanin, 2018.
- Award for Acting Achievement and Animation for the role of the Sheikh in the play “Sylvester’s Blog Treasure” at the Forty-Third Meeting of Professional Puppet Theatres of Serbia in Subotica, 2012.
- Annual Award for Artistic Achievement from the Niš Puppet Theatre, 2011.
He has played a number of minor roles in series such as: “Sinđelići,” “Urgent Center,” “Infiltration,” “Notebook,” “Family,” “Beak,” “Fate’s Game,” “Impure Blood,” “King Alexander,” “Shadows over the Balkans,” “Dream Team,” etc.
At the Niš Puppet Theatre, he has directed the plays: “New Year’s Adventure” and “Fairy Tale Vision,” and the puppet play “Duckling Žutkica” in collaboration with colleague Tomo Bibić.
He directed the operetta “La Serva Padrona” by G.B. Pergolesi in collaboration with the Faculty of Arts in Niš and the play “World War III” by Ivan M. Lalić in collaboration with Mixer House in Belgrade.
In cooperation with ASITEŽ Serbia and the Niš Puppet Theatre, he directed public readings of the plays “The Time It Disappeared” by Jean-Frederic Messie and “2:14 AM” by David Pake.
He is the costume designer for around forty productions across all Niš theatres and has received awards for Best Costume Design at seven international and domestic festivals. Notable costume designs include the plays “Herostratus,” the musical “Gypsies Fly to the Sky,” the operetta “Die Fledermaus,” and the opera “The Barber of Seville” at the Niš National Theatre.
He is one of the founders and selectors of the First and Second Festivals of Children’s and Youth Theatre (DOPS) in Jagodina. He received a Special Award for Overall Contribution to the Festival and the promotion of dramatic creation.
He has authored several exhibitions of theatrical costumes in collaboration with the Niš National Theatre.
He is a member of the Management Board of UNIMA Center Serbia.
He served as Acting Director of the Niš Puppet Theatre from September 2012 to October 2013.
