Natasa Ristic

She was born in Niš in 1972. She graduated in 2008 from the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts “Krsto Sarafov” in Sofia, Bulgaria, specializing in puppetry.

She began her acting career at the Classic Theatre, and in 1993, she started working at the National Theatre in Leskovac. Two years later, she joined the Puppet Theatre Niš, where she continues to work to this day.

She received an award for acting and animation at the Meeting of Professional Puppet Theatres of Serbia in Zrenjanin in 1997 for the play Stars in the Sky by Mima Janković. She has received many collective awards, notably two Grand Prix awards for the play Shadows in the Night: at the International Puppet Festival for Adults “Piero” in Stara Zagora in 2003 and at the 10th Children’s Theatre Festival “Festić” in Belgrade in 2005.

In the last 10 years, in her free time, she has worked at Niš television “Belle Amie,” where she has hosted several original shows.
