Toma Bibic

Born in 1978 in Zadar. Graduated from the Faculty of Arts in Priština, Zvečan, with a degree in Drama, in Professor Milan Plećas’s class. His graduation performance was “Street, Stick, and String,” an authorial project by Branislava Ilić. He completed lower music school “Dr. Vojislav Vučković” in Niš, with a focus on violin. Member of the folk ensemble “Oro” Niš. Acted in films produced in Niš: “Zona Zamfirova,” “The Robbery of the Third Reich” directed by Zdravko Šotra, and “The Battle of Čegar” directed by Bojan Ranđelović. Performed on the stages of Niš theaters in productions such as “Audition,” “Cabaret,” and “In the Flame of Passion” at the SKC stage, and in the musical “Fiddler on the Roof” at the National Theater. He was a freelance collaborator with the Niš Puppet Theater from 2008 to 2012, and since 2013, he has been a permanent member of the ensemble.

As a member of the “Korak” troupe and in collaboration with the “Garin Trousseboeuf” troupe from France, he participated in the World Puppet Festival in Charleville-Mézières (FR) in 2009. He furthered his training at workshops: Patrick Conan (FR) “Marionettes Sac” in 2008 and Gyöngyi Biro (FR) “Mime Technique Workshop” in 2010.
