The production is based on a classic folk tale collected by Pavol Dobšinský. It tells the story of a fox whose home is taken over by an arrogant and ruthless goat. Although the fox seeks help from stronger animals, no one dares to stand up to the intruder. In the end, it is a small hedgehog who finds the courage to confront the injustice and, through wit and determination, drives the goat away.
The creators chose this traditional tale because of its timeless message. Beneath its simple story lie themes of courage, solidarity, and responsibility for others. The production reminds audiences that evil often prevails only as long as no one opposes it, and that true strength does not come from size or power, but from the determination to stand up for what is right.
This intimate puppet performance offers young audiences a clear and engaging story about justice, showing that even the smallest among us can make a difference.
